As a Marketing and Operational industry leader, and experienced senior executive who specialises in scaling startups, it's my analytical and determined nature that has allowed me to turn ideas into effective high growth business strategies - and push emerging brands into the spotlight. With more than 10 years experience managing remote teams, and a focus on driving growth through content marketing and understanding the importance of a target market, I’m an accomplished marketing and business growth specialist who thrives at building teams and creating experiences that generate growth.
After growing up in Melbourne, Australia, I moved to New York City in 2014, where I lived for a year, before relocating to San Francisco, California where I lived for six years. I’m currently back in Melbourne and working to help boost the Australian tech landscape.
As a highly experienced tech start-up executive, I was the first US employee at Australian tech double unicorn Go1 - building out their marketing function on a global level as VP of Marketing, and establishing a US presence and developing the brand and scaling the business operations and team, as well as being an active member of the executive team for over 4 years.
Once leaving Go1 I joined Drawboard as COO where I was able to work closely with the leadership team to restructure the company for the next phase of growth and drive increased performance across all functions of the business. I only left this role to join Versus Merch as COO, where my long time friend and founder was looking to scale his business - which we did over the years to follow.
I have also worked with companies such as JW Player, Gremlin, Buildkite, Kapiche, Talisium, Hindsite Industries and others, providing strategy and advice that directly results in business results.
In 2018, I published 'A Guide to Better eLearning' to help people learn how to create successful online courses. In addition to organizing the Bay Area Learning Design & Technology Meetup and the Brisbane Learning & Technology Meetup, I moonlighted as a sideline reporter for Starting5Online covering the NBA, specifically the Golden State Warriors.
Using my diverse skill set and experience, I am able to come up with out-of-the-box solutions that help companies and teams grow and build brands. I look forward to doing this with you!
